The trillion is the cut the industry uses as a supporting actor — a flanking stone, a decorative accent. Silvia saw something else: a geometry that changes how light moves through colored diamonds.

Each piece in Collection Trillion began as a painted study: the way light enters a trillion-cut champagne diamond at its flat top facet and refracts across three pavilion planes.
Every diamond in Collection Trillion begins as a sliver of crystal — a seed plate, cut from an existing diamond and polished to atomic flatness. Inside a CVD reactor, carbon atoms rain down in a hydrogen-plasma atmosphere, locking into the lattice one layer at a time.
The process takes weeks. Temperature, pressure, and gas ratios are tuned to coax the crystal into growing with minimal strain. The result is rough with exceptional optical clarity — material that holds colour evenly and returns light without the inclusions that plague accelerated growth.
CVD technology grows diamond crystal in controlled orientations. Cutting a trillion from lab-grown rough isn't a compromise — it's a choice. And in champagne, blush pink, and soft blue, the trillion's broad, flat table and angular pavilion create a light behavior that round brilliants can't replicate: slower movement, wider flashes, and a warmth that holds rather than scatters.
Silvia designed around these properties. The settings are low-profile, open-backed where possible, allowing light to enter from multiple angles. The metal is minimal — enough structure, nothing more.
